I am passionate about sharing the benefits of yoga with women 55+ who are new to yoga, think yoga isn't for them, or are living with chronic pain. I offer stretching, strengthening, simple meditation, breath work, and fall prevention -- all 100% customized to my clients needs and goals. I am an adept at offering customizations so that every client can experience the benefits of yoga in their unique body. I travel around coastal North San Diego County with a variety of props, calming music, and a warm and friendly attitude to help women feel better in their bodies and their minds.

Jennie has been a godsend to my healing! I would have never expected Chair Yoga could be as beneficial as it has been, thanks to Jennie! Her tailored program each week for me has been something I look forward to each week. We do our sessions online as she now lives on the West Coast but it doesnt matter. She is so positive and patient with my left hip issue and she is making a huge difference in my movement! Highly recommend her online or in-person!

It has been an absolute joy to work with you Linda: you are such a dedicated and willing participant! I, too, look forward to "seeing" you every week :-) I sincerely hope that we will get to meet in person one day; we will have so much to celebrate!

I've been attending Jennie's classes since she opened her studio in 2017. She is an excellent yoga instructor. I appreciate that she offers pose alternatives for those who may have a past injury, etc. She has also gone out of her way to provide me with articles outside of class related to physical issues with which I have dealt. Her weekly themes and readings are a welcome reminder that we all deal with many of these same issues in our lives. Classes are intimate, thoroughly enjoyable and definitely a high point of my week. I highly recommend Breathe with Jennie!

Jennie is a wonderful teacher of Gentle Flow and Yin Yoga as well as Nidra. Her classes are really good for both beginners and experienced practicitioners. She will tailor poses for unique needs, offer variations, and listens to feedback to adjust classes to meet student needs. It's also affordable and her studio is also her home, so you feel welcomed, relaxed and it's not at all intimidating. She also coordinates themes each month (e.g., fun sessions like an Abba-70's day, breathing exercises based on the season, or dedicated attention to a particular muscle group). Highly recommend this studio to anyone of any age interested in yoga.

I have faithfully attended Jennie's yin yoga class since the beginning. It's the highlight of my weekend where I can renew body, mind and spirit, preparing me for the week ahead. Jennie honors our individual needs and limitations, and provides a quiet, intimate space to do just that! It's only Tuesday and am already looking forward to Sunday!

Jennie is a great teacher! I am often amazed at the new and interesting poses she has to share and how she personalizes and customizes her classes for her students...something for everyone. She is genuinely interested in each student, remembers things about them and their families and shares her passion and understanding of yoga in ways that will truly help people and meet them where their bodies and capabilities are. My life and yoga practice are all better because of Jennie and her wonderful yoga classes.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My hourly rate is $150. I strongly recommend people book a minimum of 10 sessions with me in order to truly notice the benefits of yoga. A 10-session package is 20% off, so you pay just $1,200. I am happy to accept payment in two installments if preferred.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first schedule a free 30-minute consultation call (or Zoom). I will ask about goals (e.g. de-stressing, flexibility, balance) and any previous or current movement you engage in. Then you have the opportunity to ask me questions!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been studying yoga since 2016. I have taken many anatomy trainings since most of my clients are living with any number of physical challenges. I am happy to lead movements that are standing, seated in a chair, down on the ground, or a combination.
