- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Moving: $80/HR ---- 2 MOVERS W/TRUCK (free mileage under 25 miles) Packing/Unpacking + Loading/Unloading: $50/HR ---- 2 PACKERS (you must provide boxes) Furniture Deliveries: DEPENDS ON NUMBER OF PIECES AND DISTANCE. EXAMPLE: 3-5 pieces (longer than 4 feet), picking up at 1ST location, taking to 2ND location 20-30 miles away ---- FLAT RATE $150
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I work with a new customer I encourage them to take a look at our past reviews, and photos of previous jobs so they can get a feel for who the hired. I also go over the best way to pack or move their items.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I had 4 years of experience working under my old moving company when I decided to start my own. In those 4 years I learned how to really care for customers possessions while moving them and being speedy about it. I learned its best to wrap certain things with blankets and shrink wrap than to risk damaging the item.
