What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is upfront and based on the full scope of work. We don’t lowball and then hit you with change orders later. Most projects are fixed-fee so you know exactly what you’re paying from the start. If the scope changes, we’ll talk about it before doing any extra work. We also keep things flexible when it makes sense, especially for repeat clients or larger projects.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a quick call to understand the project, timeline, and jurisdiction. From there, we review any existing plans or site info and put together a clear proposal. Once approved, we get started immediately on design and drafting, coordinate with structural and energy consultants, and handle the full permit submittal. Throughout the process, we keep you updated so you always know where your project stands.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in construction and quickly saw how big of a gap there was on the design and permitting side. Projects were getting delayed because plans weren’t clear or communication was poor. I built Sparrow Design & Plans to solve that by being responsive, reliable, and actually pushing projects forward instead of slowing them down.
