Introduction: I use positive reinforcement with love, praise, and motivation to train dogs. I am a very sociable and friendly person that believes in educating people so they feel comfortable managing their relationship with their pet even long after I have gone. Abby was a Shih Tzu puppy that needed work with jumping, biting, and excessive barking. We had a wonderful session, and Abby was like a different dog. Louise was happy to get some complimentary dog treats to train Abby after our session.

Kristen was a pleasure to work with. She was on time arriving at our home, she had done her homework on what we wanted to work on. Kristen was very knowledgeable on training and different behaviors, she observed Ruby and had suggestions and tips for us. Our two big issues were-- Ruby bolting out doors and not coming to us. Also licking and jumping on people. We all worked for 2 hrs. It was very helpful and we feel Ruby has done a lot better.Kristin followed through with a call and help if we needed it. We were very happy with our time with Kristen.Ruby is behaving better with our practice everyday.

Kristen came over and she was awesome! I have a 9 month old Great Dane/Mastiff who is scared of the ceiling fan, gets aggressive when new people come over and does not stop barking. While Kristen was there working with him it was like I had a new dog. We have had our ceiling fan on ever since, we are still working on the walking and having people come over but thanks to her I now have ways to work with and help him become a great family dog.

She was amazing!!! Kristen was able to get my dog to actually go near her from the beginning and that is not an easy feat at all. She taught my dog and me some very helpful and new tricks. I just loved our session! And I can't express that enough.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Private Sessions are the most valuable because the time you spend is the time that is used just for you and your specific needs. The dogs feel most comfortable in their own environment so that is where I begin my training. Please, keep in mind that I travel for my customers. I charge $100 a session for pet dogs, and $50 a session for service dogs or service dogs in training. The reason I offer service dogs at a discount (with proof of paperwork) is because I see the training of service dogs as more of a necessity than a want. I charge
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I already graduated from their Bachelor's program, and I am currently in the Master's program at Bergin University of Canine Studies.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It is my lifelong dream to train service dogs to help people with disabilities as a career. After I graduate with my Master's degree in Canine Studies (Cynology), I will start my own non-profit organization training service dogs to help veterans from our military. It seems like a waste of my knowledge to do anything else but work with dogs until I graduate.
