We are a C20 (HVAC) contractor (CSLB #996789) We are also a licensed General B contractor. We have to have knowledge and be proficient in electrical, plumbing, sheetrock repair, concrete pads, Sheet metal, controls, ducting, ventilation, carpentry, framing and finish work to name a few things we do. We give free estimates in person. We love seeing a job completed. We take pride in fixing and building things(the correct way). Carruth Home Solutions treats all of our customers like family. What does this mean? This means we wouldn't do anything that we wouldn't do at our grandmother's house. You get quality work at a fair price. I had been looking for a week or so for someone to put in my new front door. I went back and forth on my budget and after someone showed up with a passenger car that was going to be cheaper. Well cheaper is not always better. Thank goodness I had the wrong door (the way it opens). So after being frightened of unlicensed contractors doing garbage jobs and costing me more money, I hired Carruth. They came out when we needed them, they were on time and did an amazing job. My house is 61 years old and they made it look great! They cleaned up and left everything ready for my painters. Just amazing! I will be having them back for additional projects on my home. The top of my door had 6 pieces stacked of trim for elegance and they saved it. That is proof of a highly skilled finishing contractor. Thanks Steve, Judah and your other guy!

This is a family of a Dad and 2 sons. Their prices are in line with all others I contacted. They came right on time and did an excellent job. I will add that in addition to the door install, they did all the clean up work afterwards, including a magnetic pick up of nails. There was nothing left for the homeowner to do. Would hire them again.

Carruth Home Solutions installed our beautiful new front doors. They were professional, courteous, and helpful throughout the process. They helped select the doors and inspected them when they arrived at Home Depot. Judah spotted a flaw in one of the doors and reordered a new set. During installation, Judah and Steve were punctual, neat, and organized. They included me in discussions about the job and presented options as needed. I appreciate Judah's meticulous painting and attention to detail. It was a pleasure working with Carruth Home Solutions.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every job is different and unique. I charge by the hour or by the job depending on materials needed. For heating and air we are able to give you a firm quote on site.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
typically I like to see the job and talk to the homeowners in person. it's hard to know who you are hiring over the phone. I like to assess the job then I can either email them or write out an estimate right there on the spot.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Dad is a MET graduate. Certified Field engineer, C-20 license holder. I have over 13 years of experience working in the commercial and residential heating / air / and general contracting work and hold a handyman license and business licenses.
