- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to a makeup school in Canada which was a four month long program. Many "makeup artists" have never had any formal training, and I am thankful for mine. I worked for MAC cosmetics a few years back and was able to grown and continue on in my education and skill development through them! They create some wonderful artists. I am ALWAYS searching for new tools and techniques to stay current and fresh!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In highschool i stumbled upon a book by the late and great Kevin Aucoin, and fell in love with makeup at that point. The transformational power it held to bring out the best in a woman and help her feel truly beautiful. Its a passion that has stuck with me for 14 years!
