Robin did an excellent job of repairing our outside slate tile . The job consisted of replacing tile on entry step ,walkways and re-grouting slate tile bordering driveway. Robin was professional, tidy timely and pleasant .He went above and beyond to guarantee our satisfaction. In addition his price was very fair. It was a pleasure doing business with Robin and I plan on using him again in the future.
Michael took the time to help us find the right granite for our kitchen. He has a very good tile supplier connection which we appreciated, as we found the perfect non-polished/satin granite for our country kitchen. Michael is a hard-working and honest individual and we recommend his kitchen tile and granite countertop work. The only slight issue/concern we had with the job was with the fabrication of the double-bevel edging on the granite countertop. The fabrication for one of the countertops was perfect and looked great. The fabrication of the other countertop edging, however, was a bit off (which is why we didn't submit a 5-star review).
I had 2 small rooms to tile in marble to match the kitchen. I didn't know Juan before looking in Thumbtack, and hired him according to the good reviews he had. He is a very nice, gentle, accommodating man and his quote was very reasonable. I was a little nervous because I have been told that laying marble was a little more complicated than regular tile since it is very unforgiving. Juan did an excellent job, he was on the job on time and worked really hard to make my floor beautiful. I am very glad I found him and I am sure I will need him again for more projects.
it was a pleasure to have Nancy clean and grout our tile. She's professional and friendly. The Travertine floors looked great as well as the granite. I would use her again in a heartbeat.
Gabriel Herrera did a wonderful job on our crown molding, chair rails, and hard wood floor installation. He was truly a professional and a perfectionist. He measures everything and leaves nothing to chance. He has all the tools for his trade and is neat and tidy. His prices are very reasonable and he does everything he says he will do. We love Gabriel!
Joe remodeled my entire house - top to bottom! Complete tear down and redo of Kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, living, dinning, flooring, windows, carpeting, changed in-house water heater and installed tank less water heater, rewired electrical since they were so outdated (knob and wire), plumbing, flooring, new doors, new roof on garage, replaced garage door, and tons more. oh and he redid our front lawn too, new sprinklers and new sod too! They got this all done in 6 weeks! It it wasn't for our cabinet guy, he probably would have finished in 5 weeks. He doesn't waste time and will get your job done as soon as he can. He knows where to get stuff and at really good prices. But they are human after all and construction stuff is not easy so don't expect it done overnight. I don't think there is anything this guy and his team can't do. I personally vouch for him and he has done work for my family, friends, co-workers, etc. He helped my brother fix a patio that another contractor had difficulty with. I think he's been doing this for over 17 years. Dependable person and has great sense of humor too! No job is too big or too small for him and his crew. If you are not happy about anything, he will make sure to make things right. But he pretty much makes sure you are getting what you want so no surprises down the road. Now how did I find this guy? Luck? Well a little? He was referred to me as well.
Richard Roman, of Roman Construction, recently completed an entire interior/exterior home renovation for me. His professionalism and dedication to quality work made my renovation project a pleasant experience for me. Richard completed the job within the timeline that he had originally set, and stayed within my budget, in spite of the changes that I made to the original scope of work. He took care of all the research, plans and permits necessary to complete my home. I have specific tastes and Richard went out of his way to work with me and give me the customized job that I wanted. His attention to detail, and his expertise and that of his crew, has resulted in a beautiful finished product. From the demolition at the beginning to the final finishing touches, it was a pleasure to work with Roman Construction, and I would certainly recommend them for any construction project.
Pacific HomeRemodeling did the gutter replacement, patio covers, and painted the interior of our house. I would definitely hire them again in the future.
Scott Nason is the only Handyman that I will ever use. He painted four rooms. He repaired my fence and low voltage landscape lighting. He fixed a bad case of dry rot in my exterior doors and exterior window frame and trim and fixed a major dry rot situation in my laundry room after installing a new water heater. He removed decades-old oil stains in my carport then refinished the concrete to match the exterior of my home. He put up extra shelving in my storage shed and laundry room. In a bathroom he removed and replaced tiles so the plumber could access the fixture that was being replaced and then put in a new sink and faucet, tiled the countertop in marble, slate and ascents, then put in a new mirror and lighting fixture. He fixed the oven fan. In the summer I plan to have him paint my exterior wood trim. He has a large number of before and after pictures and you should look at them. He is a perfectionist and is not satisfied until the finished look is perfect. I would be fine if the work looked just OK and not perfect. The cost of his repair of the dry rot in my doors and windows was much less than replacing the doors and windows.
I used Kermit, just over a year now, to set up a lot of Ikea furniture. He set up a ton of stuff right after we moved and I was out of town. We needed to set up a desk, a large dresser and a huge Besta unit that fits a flat screen tv. The unit was slightly custom assembled, as I dont believe it was totally meant to be assembled that way. The guys assembled everything perfectly. I recently moved and Kermit ,came back to reattach the large Besta TV wall unit. He was done in a flash and also mounted something else to my wall that he had built the previous time. The work was extremely professional and perfectly executed. For specific furniture, you can ask for an estimate/cost per piece or pay an hourly rate. Prices are very reasonable and saves you the agony and hours of pain trying to put some of this stuff together. I would highly recommend his services.
