Nuria Fortier was my Spanish teacher for fall 2014 through the International Language School for Children and Adults. I am an adult, beginner level spanish language student with some previous beginner coursework. Our Saturday morning one-hour classes are held at Pitzer College and ran from September through December into January. I am very impressed with Nuria's language instruction. She meets the students where he/she is in their learning, yet also helps you to challenge yourself (for example speaking as much as possible in Spanish during lesson). She stresses the importance of grammar and verb conjugation structures within conversational Spanish lesson. She constructs lessons so that we come into contact with verbs and then we address the conjugation. She recommended two very good books for beginner level that we use during the lesson, and also introduces fun story reading (at children's level which is actually very good for beginner adult learner). Nuria is very professional and reliable, and encouraging for an adult language learner! Nothing negative to report. Nuria has also created a local Spanish speaking group of current and former students who meet to practice Spanish and I am looking forward to joining this group. Thank you Nuria! I recommend ILSCA and Nuria Fortier for Spanish language. Her Children's programs are also very well attended.

Rudy has terrific technical writing skills. His writing skills are equally precise and accurate in English and Spanish. It was a pleasure to work with Rudy as he edited my work.

Was a little concerned about starting Spanish after such a long period of not studying it, but the experience has been great. Marguerite is extremely knowlegable. She is very flexible with her time and genuinely want her students to fall in love with the Spanish language

Pablo is an excellent teacher. He provides a structured and clear path to quickly learning the basic building blocks of becoming proficient in conversational Spanish and brings a fun and easy-going demeanor to the process. I've been taking lessons from him for three months and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to begin learning Spanish or wanting to improve on what they already know. And if you, as in my case, specifically want to learn Argentinian Spanish, Pablo is a native speaker.

Secundino Medina has taught me a significant amount of Spanish in a short amount time. He is very patient and explains things very well. I have a lot more confidence when having a Spanish conversation. I have also come along way in writing Spanish. I recommend Secundino to everyone who is seeking to improve their Spanish or would like to begin to learn Spanish.
