FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most standard residential pools are $130/month for weekly service. Larger pools are typically around $140/month, and very large pools or pools that require more time and attention generally start at $150/month and up. Final pricing depends on pool size, debris load, equipment, and overall condition. Filter cleanings, repairs, drain/refills, and other specialty work are separate, and I’ll always discuss additional work with you beforehand.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually start by seeing the pool and equipment in person. I’ll check the water chemistry, pump, filter, circulation, cleaner, and overall condition of the pool. If I notice anything that needs attention, I’ll explain it to you. From there, I’ll give you a straightforward monthly price and set up a regular weekly service day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m CPO certified and trained in pool water chemistry, sanitation, filtration, circulation, and proper pool operation. I also have a technical background, which naturally carries over into troubleshooting pumps, timers, automation, salt systems, and other equipment. A lot of what I do is figuring out why something isn’t working the way it should, not just cleaning the pool.
