My experience with Cartwright Termite & Pest Control was exceptional. Their courteous and responsive service over the phone, with call backs confirming appointments and additional information I needed was second to none. I called them to help with a swarm of bees on my property. They came out the next morning early, when the bees are more docile. Ramiro was amazing, he walked around my entire property shook all the trees to insure the bee problem was taken care of. I would recommend Cartwright, not only if you have bees...but for any service involving pest control...thanks so much for a great experience

SilverBullet Pest Control was the perfect solution, when we encountered a rat problem in our attic. After 2 nights waking up at 4 am hearing little alarming noices from the attic & side of the walls I needed to take action. We owed this home for 10 years & nothing like this ever happened before.I went online and typed in my problem and was trying to find someone to help us. Within 2 minutes Daryll called back.I stated my problem on the phone and within 30 minutes he arrived at our house. He was highly proffesional and had a pleasant personality. After investigating our house & property he had a plan to remove the rats.Since our neighbors had grapefruit trees we had to cut the tree down, because the branches reached our roof. The neighbors roof rats came over to our roof, because they love cirus fruit. After three days 2 rats were caught , because Daryll set traps in our attic No babies thank God , just 2 roof rats. Being explained by Daryll with an information flyer. Then we decided on preventing future rats.Daryll put the resistence package into action, meaning sealing of any opening on the roof & putting out baitboxes around the property, preventing future roof rats to visit our property & house, which where perfectly safe for our golden retriever Schatzi.Daryll was very informative and supportive during his visits like an honest expert. He definitly exceeded my expectations. The money to remove the rats were well spend, we had really a piece of mind after they were gone. Ask yourself who ever surprised you positivly like that.It is very rare and we were very impressed.I passed out his businesscards to every friend and coworker. We never knew about rats!In the desert we need pest control! My husband & I decided after this great service to sign up for a bi - monthly visit with Daryll to prevent roaches, crickets, spiders & ants aswell. The money is well spend, because the products Daryll uses are way more powerful then the stuff you would buy yourself. At the end it is more expensive and less effective, if you do it yourself.I feel grateful and like to thank Daryll and SilverbulletPest Control for the outstanding service we revieved.DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ANY PEST? Call SilverBullet PestControl & ask for Daryll.

To whom it may concern: Re: Greg Lang / USA Painting and Construction. In 2004 Greg and his company built for us a 550 square foot game room/oversized casita. The site was originally intended for a standard 300 sq. ft. casita so it was somewhat of a special project as the 300 ft. slab was already in place. The removal of this and the re-orientation of the new slab/foundation was the beginning of the project which consisted of the main room, a full bath, a wet-bar, and closet. The construction moved forward from there to completion without incident and within the timeframe stated and Greg’s design matched the exterior and interior of the existing house perfectly. Greg’s team was very professional and timely and we were scarcely inconvenienced during the construction. Greg or his foreman was on-site every day overseeing the project. In fact, my wife and I were in England for 3 weeks during this time and Greg took care of our pool, cleaning and adding the necessary chemicals. After completion Greg made some follow-up visits to address any problems. There are none to this date. Greg is a devout Christian and an honest man and we can recommend him highly for any construction or related projects. Randy and Lorrayne Burns Palm Desert, CA

What do pest control companies do?

Pest control companies handle all aspects of bug, rodent and animal extermination or removal. Pest control professionals visit your home or office to identify the type of pest that is troubling you and offer various treatment plans — complete with clearly outlined costs. Once you and the pest control company have a signed agreement, the pro will begin treatment. Pest treatment can range from the use of spray pesticides and gel bait to live and/or kill traps. There are a wide range of types of pesticides, many of them nontoxic for humans and other small animals. This means you may be able to have your home treated for pests without harming nearby wildlife or your dog and cat. The pest control pro will carry out the treatment plan and, depending on the service agreement, provide follow-up such as emptying traps, inspecting access points, or reapplying pesticide spray if the pests return. Costs will vary based on the type of pest you are having removed and the extent of the infestation. The average national pest control price range is $80-$130. From a minor bedbug event to an entire home termite infestation, pest control companies have got you covered.

How much does it cost to treat a house for termites?

Termites are not only creepy-crawly, they can literally eat your house out from underneath you. Termites feed on damp and dry wood and can chomp through your house at an alarming rate. The national average pest control cost for termite extermination is $240-$400. Treatment costs can be higher for an extensive infestation. Here are some examples of average pest control costs for termites:

      • Liquid treatment of subterranean termites: $3-$4 per linear foot.
        • For $75 per year, a company may offer a maintenance plan that provides inspection of the property and renewal of the warranty.
      • Liquid treatment of subterranean termites: approximately $400 for a 2,000-square-foot home at $3-$5 per linear foot.
        • The price is higher for additional work such as foaming and drilling inside of concrete slabs.
      • Fumigation treatment of drywood termites: $1,200-$1,500 for a 30,000- to 35,000-cubic-foot home
        • Fumigation is measured in cubic feet because it fills the airspace of the home and infiltrates the wood that the termites may be colonizing. The cost of fumigation is affected by the number of levels in the home as well as the square footage.

How much does it cost to get rid of cockroaches?

Cockroaches are not only ugly, they are difficult to get rid of. Quick and resilient, they can be hard to get rid of without professional help once they have inhabited a house. Nationally, the average range for cockroach pest control cost is $80-$130. Extermination professionals typically provide a free estimate to determine the extent of the infestation. They’ll check for the main sources of the bugs, identify bug access and entry points into your home, and determine the best method for elimination. There are a variety of cockroach extermination tools including gel baits and traps, pesticide foggers, desiccants (which dry out the cockroaches), neurotoxins, and other pesticides. Pest control costs can also cover preventive measures like regular spraying and trap maintenance. Some regions of the country are much more prone to cockroach problems than others, so pest control costs may need to be part of your quarterly budget. Cockroaches love dark, humid, and warm areas and water sources, so place traps near your washer and dryer and under your sinks.

How much does it cost to remove a mouse?

If you have a mouse in your house you’re probably quickly researching pest control costs. Mice, although tiny, can transmit diseases and also get into your food and leave unsanitary droppings around your home. If you have seen one mouse in your house, it’s likely that more have taken up residence in your crawl space, attic or basement. The national average pest control cost is $150-$200. Costs can vary depending on whether you need to get rid of a population of living mice or just dispose of a dead mouse (or full traps), how extensive the mouse population is, and where you live in the country. Here are some examples of average pest control cost for removing a mouse:

      • $150 for initial trap setup and inspection (and sealing of entry holes).
        • $50 for rodent removal service calls and emptying of traps. This visit can also include identifying and sealing entry points that were not sealed on the first visit.
      • Rodent extermination: $110-$350, depending on how heavy the rodent population is, whether the mouse infestation poses health risks, how many entrances exist and how many rodent bait stations are needed.

How much does it cost to get a pest inspection?

In general there is no cost for a pest inspection. Exterminators typically provide a free property or building inspection and then provide you with a written estimate outlining the necessary treatment and cost. The home visit allows the exterminator to assess the problem and let you know what your pest control cost will be if you contract with their services. You may need a termite inspection for real estate purposes. This will be a verified inspection showing that the house in question is termite-free (often done before a sale). The inspection may cost a flat rate, such as $125-$150, depending on house size.

It’s hard to predict pest control costs sight unseen due to the variety of factors that go into pest treatment. For example, a bedbug problem for one customer may be confined to one room and be easy to access and treat in one visit if the room is clear of clutter and the bedbugs have been caught early. In another home, a bedbug problem may also be confined to one room, but there’s a great deal of clutter, providing more hiding places for the bugs and requiring more spray and labor for the exterminator, as well as many pieces of large furniture in the room that need to sprayed. Depending on the maturity of the infestation, a bedbug problem may require multiple visits to entirely eliminate. This is why many companies provide a free inspection to determine pest control costs and provide you the most accurate quote possible.
