FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prefer to take a class? Offerings for small group classes are just ahead.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For any student, I will spend some time getting to know them by asking questions about what they want to learn, the reasons why, and what interests them most about acting. Understanding what is important to the student helps us to focus on where to begin. We will discuss many other things which may seem unrelated to acting, but they provide a good baseline of how to prepare them for professional situations like auditions, shows and days on set. Then, if they don't already have material they want to work on, we will figure out appropriate material (plays, scenes, monologues, etc.) and exercises to get the student in the work. Depending on the goal and comfortability level, students who are new to acting may be asked to present a short unmemorized script (1 min).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied with the Stanislavsky Summer School at A.R.T. Harvard/ Moscow Art Theatre School in Boston, MA and completed my professional training at the Drama Studio London in England, where I graduated with representation (across-the-board). In Los Angeles, I have continued to train at New Collective LA with master teacher Greg Braun, where I focus on the craft of developing three-dimensional characters for camera and stage. Additionally, I recently graduated with my MBA from the Drucker School of Management and a credential in college teaching.
