I came across RC cabinets on this site and was unsure about working with them, as I couldn't find much info on the company in my research. After reading the great reviews, I decided to reach out to them. I met with Ruben, who was very professional. He arrived timely for appointments, took the time to explain his services, answered my many questions and most importantly, was honest. My kitchen is very small, so I was not looking to spend a fortune to update it. I wanted to keep my existing counter top and other companies that provided me quotes told me it wasn't possible... I'd have to replace. (???) I now see they just wanted me to put more money in for their benefit. Ruben's price was very reasonable and he kept my existing counter top, just as I wanted. I was doing this work right before Christmas (about a week before, to be exact!) so I was concerned when it would be completed, as I was hosting at my home. Ruben started on the 19th and I believe he was done the 22nd. Right on schedule! The work area was left immaculate and all I had to worry about was getting items back into my cabinets. My husband and I are very pleased with our beautiful new cabinets and would highly recommend Ruben and his team.

I would absolutely recommend Ruben! His work is exceptional. He is professional and easy to work with. I had a microwave cabinet that was way too high to use without a step ladder. Ruben reworked the existing cabinet so that the microwave is now counter height and I can actually use it. He built cabinet doors to fill the space where the microwave was at. If you didn't know what it looked like originally, you would think it was this way to begin with.

I had a fantastic experience with Ruben, the owner of RC Cabinets. From the initial interaction via Thumbtack till the end of the project, Ruben was communicative, professional, and on top of things. His pricing was very competitive, his work was of high quality and he was very accommodating to fixes that needed to be made to our satisfaction.
Even though I hired Ruben to resurface our kitchen cabinets, he helped coordinate a counter-top and back splash installer and coordinated everything to ensure that the project was completed in a fairly timely manner.
Ruben ensures that throughout the project everything is kept neat and clean in the house. He covered the floors with professional cardboard covering and closed off the kitchen to restrict the dust and debris within the kitchen. After the project was done, he ensured that everything was neat, clean and ready to use.
I would suggest that when coming to an agreement on price, try to include whatever needs to be done up-front, since any changes or adjustments not included on the original agreement will result in additional cost (reasonable, but added cost nonetheless), which is to be expected.
I would definitely hire Ruben for future projects without any hesitation.

Fantastic job. Very happy with his services from initial contact through the final product. I had a modification of my cabinet above my microwave. I wanted it raised with new crown on the top of all my cabinets as well as a light rail. My cabinets have a specialty stain on them and he matched it perfectly. I would highly recommend him to anyone and even having him quote another project.
