Calling Nic a home painter is like calling a 3 year old Leonardo DaVinci. First, we were lucky enough to have him color match a few rooms from a faux finish paint job from 10 years ago, which he did perfectly, and which few artists can do.
From simple elegant finishes to the most complex, he appears to be a one man army.
We then interviewed 4 artists/painters to do our home and had no choice but to wait months until Nic came home, as he was on a big job east coast. His portfolio is wonderful.
(at no more cost than most anyone, I might add)
Then on to the rest of the home, which he turned into an luscious showplace. His sense of color, instinct, intuition to our needs, attention to detail and creativity thrilled us.
As an artist, his skill, balance and consistency as of the best I have seen and I was even in the faux finish business in the 80's. As a person, wonderful demeanor, on time, communicative and helpful.
We continued to get in put on other design elements in the home, from color to drapes, to knobs, to furniture arrangement and tapped as much as his and we could.
What could have improved our experience? Not wasting time on others for this job and getting it done earlier.
