I searched for and selected a few candidate roofers to replace the wood shake roof on my 2-story housewith shingles. I felt very comfortable at the first meeting with Tal, the owner of Tal Family Builders. He was professional and well prepared. He patiently explained the whole process, materials and key items to watch out for as well as answering all the questions I listed in advance. His pricing was competitive. He kept me updated all the time and promptly addressed my questions professionally. I was impressed with the quality and efficiency of their team. The project was completed in a week!I appreciated Tals sincerity. After the old wood shakes were removed, it was clear that much less new OSD plywood would be needed. He was quick to provide a contract change order with a sizable reduction from the original contract. I strongly recommend Tal Family Builders for any roofing work.

We had the pleasure working with Tal Family Builders in the week of September 16, 2024 and his team gave us a brand new roof of over 4000 sq ft in 4 days. The house was built in 1976 and the old roof was the original one. There was no plywood and the tiles were heavy. The team had to walk on old roof framing. The workers were very professional and always arrived on time each day. There was one day that they worked 10 hours straight under hot sun. We couldn't be happier with our new roof and feel very safe to live there for another 50 years.I did get several quotes before choosing Tal's team. Tal was prompt in responding to my inquiry and even made a second trip to show me different shingles. He was on site every day and the project was completed within the timeframe on contract. I would highly recommend Tal Family Builders for your home project as he is a man of his word, knows what he's doing and would treat you as his family and friends.

Tal is a wonderful person. To work with him is a privilege. Two months ago, my home insurance company requested me to replace my roof otherwise my policy would not be renewed. At that time I was on vacation out of USA country. I contacted Tal and he was very patient to answer my questions and waited for my coming back. After I came back, I tried to contacted the roofing vendors who replied me when I was on my vacation, but only 5 of the 15 vendors responded my new request in time. I had not had any ideas how to do with my roof, so I met roofing vendors to educate myself. Among the 5 quotes, Tal's quote was not the cheapest, but he was the only one whom I felt be my brother and could bear my trust. I knew replacing my roof is a risking adventure, so I must make a decision when I know nothing. Only Tal let me have a peaceful mind. Therefore I picked him up as my vendor to move forward. Later a lot of stories happened and Tal has never let me down. Now Tal has been my real friend and brother and I will definitely recommend him to my friends and will definitely hire him when I need to hire a roofing vendor.
