I recently attended this yoga class with Yan and it was really a positive experience. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming — exactly what you need when you’re just starting out on your yoga journey. The session was perfectly paced for beginners. Yan never made anyone feel rushed or overwhelmed, breaking down each pose clearly and making sure everyone felt comfortable before moving on. I appreciated how approachable and patient she was throughout the entire practice — it really helped me feel at ease and build confidence on the mat. What made this experience truly special was what happened after the class. Yan offered tea and invited everyone to stay for a casual chat which was completely voluntary. It turned into such a lovely little gathering where we shared our experiences and connected over the practice. It felt less like a fitness class and more like a community. Yan’s yoga sessions are great for beginners like me! I didn’t feel that it was too hard or too challenging like other yoga classes I’ve attended. I had a very calming experience that gave me energy the rest of my day. Yan would check my form on different poses and adjusted it to maximize the practice. She also shared modifications to some yoga poses, which was great for people that aren’t very flexible (like me). Yan is a very personable and approachable yoga instructor and I highly recommend her yoga sessions!
