Introduction: I think my attitude and personality set me apart. There are a lot of good makeup and hairstylists in Southern CA, but not a lot of them are almost obnoxiously punctual, fast, and fun. I think the fact that I truly love what I do shines through in my work and how I treat my clients, and I like to think I give them a truly enjoyable and relaxing experience and not just gorgeous makeup and hair.
I really just love people! I love making them feel beautiful and confident, and I love to hear their stories and chat while I'm working. I get to play with beauty products for a living! I certainly can't complain, which is not to say that I never do, but really, even a bad day is still a day I got to make someone look and feel amazing.

Catherine is a fantastic makeup artist and hair stylist. She always knows what looks are hot, and knows how to make you look exactly how you want. I have used Catherine many times for hair and makeup, most recently she helped me with my headshots, and they came out great! I also go to her for advice on what makeup or hair products to buy, since she is incredibly well versed on the best products and brands. I have trusted Catherine with my hair and makeup many times for many years, and I will continue to do so for many years to come. I highly recommend Catherine for any occasion. From weddings to high fashion to theatre and beyond, Catherine is the best there is!

When Catherine showed up at my wedding venue I was a sobbing mess. Weddings are stressful, you know? She talked me through my little melt down and then got down to business. My wedding day hair and makeup was absolutely gorgeous! We had done a trial run (or two) beforehand, so on the day everything went smoothly. When people saw me they were speechless. I even look beautiful in the pictures where I'm making weird faces (you know we all have those)! She also did a beautiful job on my mother (who is kind of afraid of makeup) and made my mother-in-law look like a super spy (at her request, of course!). I would recommend Catherine to anyone who needs a hair and makeup artist for ANYTHING!

Catherine can be explained in one word, AWESOME! She is a fantastic makeup artist, and seriously made me look spectacular. I had her do my makeup for my head shots, and I am having her to my makeup at my wedding too.I highly recommend her to anyone. She was a super pro, and was hilarious to boot.

Catherine arrived promptly. She allowed us to take extra time because one of us had to shower before getting makeup and hair done. She also allowed for an add-on person to get curls in her hair (though it seemed to be a bit steep in price just for curls).
The service was pretty good overall, but the finished results on the MoB were a bit frizzy, and my own hair's detailing (hanging side-bang) had a fair amount of looseness and wasn't clean and organized when she finished. She also applied my eyeliner too light the first time, and uneven the second time, but she did correct it successfully.
I would describe her styling as a bit more minimalistic than I preferred, but in the end everyone was satisfied.
