Introduction: I have a wealth of expertise and experience working with a wide range of clients, as well as the goals they're trying to accomplish. I have a very strong background in resistance training, as well sports performance. I love coaching. I love the social aspect of getting to interact with motivated clients on a daily basis. Educating my clients as they reach their goals is one of the most satisfying things I get to experience.

Oh goodness where to begin! Well, I started working with Jim 4 years ago as a student of his, working toward a degree in Exercise Sport Science. I will always remember the very first class with him-a Strength Training Technique and Programming course. I had never really trained before (at least not correctly) so he was certainly starting from scratch with me. I then fell in love with strength training and weightlifting as I progressed through my time at UW-L due to the passion Jim brought to teaching and coaching as well as his wealth of knowledge and experience in the field. Jim is a remarkable trainer, teacher, coach, and friend because he honestly cares about each client. He knows just how much to push, when to dial it back, demonstrates a great deal of patience when few people would, and always finds a way to make it enjoyable! His dedication as a trainer and the efforts he puts in to expanding his knowledge and experience inspires me to do the same. Jim certainly lit a fire under me and helped me find my passion! Even now, as our careers have lead us many miles apart, he still manages to be an awesome weightlifting coach and continues to make me a better athlete and person!

Jim inspired me to become involved in weightlifting for the past 5 years. Jim took me from barely being able to complete a chin-up to doing weighted chin ups in 3 months. His ability to write performance driven strength programs is unsurpassed by the majority of people who call themselves "strength coaches." He is extremely timely and responsive to clients, coaches with direct feedback, and has a background that can coach powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting, and sports-oriented goals. Jim always is thinking for the long-term and incorporates preventative and corrective exercises as well, ensuring I am able to be physically active and healthy for my lifetime.

Jim White has been monumental in my development as an athlete. He worked to develop my weightlifting technique as it applied to track and field while in college, and has continued to help me develop into a weightlifting athlete remotely. He is accessible, intelligent, and has a knack for seeing the bigger picture so his athletes can improve. My only complaint, really, is that we don't live closer and that communication has to be predominately electronic.

Jim has been consistently writing my training programs for the past two years. He is very good at creating programs around his clients own fitness goals and abilities. Along with that, he is very hands on and knowledgeable in his field! I would recommend him without hesitation!
