Introduction: I don't just capture smiles- I capture laughter. I don't just capture kisses, I document love. I don't just pose my clients- I give I direct them to create and feel real emotions. I genuinely care about my clients and want them to have the best pictures possible that captures them in their own unique and genuine way.
I always ask my clients "what is the purpose of this photoshoot and what do you want to get out of it?"
I ask them this because I want to remind them and also myself of why we're doing this.
When it comes down to it, we are doing this because we are documenting our lives. We only get one and once these years have slipped by, we'll never get them back. Photography well, it's this frozen moment of time: laughter, embrace, excitement; to me, these human emotions are the most beautiful thing on this planet. Simply put, I deeply enjoy my work because of love and beauty.

Ed is a great photographer! He's got a good eye, lots of ideas, and a heart to help you get the shots you want. He did an outstanding job on my college senior portraits. He knew what a personally important milestone that was and spent lots of extra time with me in all the places, poses, and concepts that I wanted. He was very good at directing the shoot, but also making sure to check with me often that what he was capturing with his camera was what I wanted. I received the photos from him in less than a few days, quite a feat for the enormous amount of photos he had to process! When I needed professional headshots several months later, I went back to him and was once again very pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent photographer!

I am pleased to recommend the photographic services of Ed Ju.
In early autumn 2015, I discovered photographer Ed Ju, and I hired him to perform and outdoor photo shoot for me in Davis CA. I found Ed to be both an interesting and an interested person.
With their permission, Ed has taken portraits of over one-hundred strangers whose paths he crossed in Northern California over the past few years. The resulting collection of portraits are a fascination of great human interest.
As for my photo shoot, during my pre-session meeting with him, Ed listened as I indicated photo preferences and constraints for my portrait. He incorporated these into his work. Ed is fun to work with, he presents great location ideas, and he quickly returns a large selection of outstanding photographs.
I feel that Ed Jus interest in people, his understanding of their surroundings, and his skills as a photographer make him an excellent choice to capture memories in pictures.

I met Ed in college during my first year. Always extremely polite and outgoing, he took phenomenal pictures of my two brothers and me at such an affordable price. The pictures were edited beautifully and delivered within the same day! If you're looking for great quality pictures for an affordable price, this is definitely the guy to go to!
I gave the pictures to my extended family as Christmas presents and they loved them! I'll be returning to Ed for any future photo-shoots! :)

Ed is an incredible photographer and his portraits are more than just a pretty photograph, they actually tell a story. His attention to detail while editing really brings them to life. Not to mention he's really easy to be around, while on a shoot he's professional but also relaxed and helpful. Highly recommend!
