The end product and installation was great. I also felt I could trust Jack Sr and Jack Jr. Trust is not something that comes easily to me. I love my new flooring! The suggestions Jack Sr had with regard to extending the flooring, both where and how to install it, were spot on! In addition, the choice of product was high quality - it shows well and feels solid. I had only two issues with 3rd Generation Flooring. These two issues weigh in less in respect of an overall rating, as the job was well done and done quickly. The first issue I had was with the delay in getting the materials that enabled 3rd Generation Flooring to start the job. I am not sure if it is reasonable to assume popular wood flooring should be in stock, but I waited weeks for it to come in and the delivery date was pushed back on two occasions. The second issue was the large down payment (50% of the cost of the job) due in advance of ordering the materials. That is a good chunk of money to pay upfront. As the down payment ended up being paid weeks in advance of the beginning of the job due to the delay in getting the materials, it was a bit unnerving. In the end, however, everything turned out great and 3rd Generation Flooring turned out to be a company I could trust!

3rd Generation does Great work. He showed up on time and was very professional. He shows that he is a master of his craft and makes it look easy. He repaired my water damaged laminate floor and installed baseboards. He also repaired some spots that the origianl lowes installer did poorly. Do yourself a favor and skip lowes and go directly to 3rd Generation.

They did our entire home. From the first contact I could tell they had more knowledge about flooring thanothers I had spoken with. The workmanship is excellent and the whole team is very honest. Besides they are straightforward nice guys. Love our new floors. We bought a laminate flooring in chestnut and indistinguishable from real wood. I would never go anywhere else firvglooring of any kind.

3RD Generation Flooring is a family run company that does high quality work. They have a huge selection of flooring to choose from, all which is of excellent quality. My husband and I just love the product we chose, the vinyl tile, and their price was very reasonable. We are completely satisfied with the installation of our new flooring and it looks absolutely beautiful! Jack Sr. and Jack Jr. are both very dependable and trustworthy. When I had a question, contacting them was very easy and Jack Jr. always responded immediately. They worked quickly and professionally and both were very pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend 3RD Generation Flooring, and I would definitely do business with them again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No each job has many different variables for ball park numbers. It's best to set up a free estimate to get accurate numbers for material and labor, or just labor, or just material.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally the customer contacts us to come take a look at materials, they pick out a few samples to take home and take a look at while we schedule an appointment for me to come measure their project and once I have all the appropriate information I can put together a total accurate number for material and labor
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Hands on training! My grandfather installed floors for 40+ years, I Have 3 great uncles who installed floors for 40+ years, my father has been installing floors 50+ years and is still active in the trade, and I have been installing for 10+years. It's in the blood
