- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am required by the Council of California Interior Design Certification to take continuing education courses.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In my previous career path, I was a technical writer. It was BORING. But I did learn the importance of thorough research and understanding the way things work. After designing, building and furnishing my own whole house remodel (including the kitchen), I found my calling! I went back to school and got a degree in interior design. My artistic and technical ability found the perfect vocation. I have been very fulfilled in the various segments of the building and remodeling industry.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Space planning for office spaces. Coordinating paint colors for the whole home. Designing a kitchen or bath remodel. Space planning and coordinating furniture - commercial or residential.
