- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'm asking for $30/hr and the cost of the materials. I feel that's fair.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually evaluate the job, collaborate with the customer, give an estimate, and at the end, discount any unused materials and provide an itemized breakdown including copies of receipts and whatnot.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 1 year of formal plumbing schooling as well as hands-on experience, a van, tools, specialty tools, you name it. I also have people I trust that I refer customers to if the job's out of my wheelhouse.
