FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first meeting we have with a prospective customer is at the home. The goal of this appointment is to come up with the scope of work for the project. It is important for us to find out the needs and wants of each customer so we can come up with a design that will perfectly fit their lifestyle. During this appointment we will take measurements, pictures and the necessary notes needed to begin designing the project. Following our initial in-home consultation, we will begin working on the design of the project. The prospective customer will then be invited into our office and will be presented with their design and comprehensive description of work detailing each phase of the project (plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, countertops, flooring, etc.). The design for the project is done on a 3-D CAD program that allows us to show the design from multiple angles in order to help our customers visualize their new kitchen or bathroom.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Tom, owner and designer, has been in the field for over 25 years. He has a passion for designing functional and efficient spaces. All of his training has been hands on. He has designed hundreds of kitchens and bathrooms throughout San Diego county and has hundreds of satisfied clients.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check out the prospective contractor's insurance and licensing. Also know that an extremely low price is a warning sign. Most contractors who are doing business the ethical way will all be in the same ballpark when giving an estimate.
