What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Everything depends on the job. If it is a small job we will charge a standard hourly rate plus the cost of materials. Larger jobs have a different pricing plan.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet with the customer at the location of their project to estimate the costs and time it will take to complete the project. We like to give accurate and detailed estimates so there are no hidden fees or surprises in the end.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
- State electrician license.
- Bachelor's in Business Management and Leadership.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Family trade that has continued through the generations because we love what we do.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of our customers are word of mouth referrals because our customers are always satisfied with our service, respect, and end result.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We love upgrading interior lighting. We have done many LED recessed lighting projects in the past year and enjoy seeing the customers satisfaction because they truly transform a room.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't be fooled by price quotes. In the electrical business, there is no way to quote a price because there are so many variables from home to home and customer to customer. If theyre a good company they will come out to your home free of charge and give you an estimate like we do.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Timeline, lighting preferences, locations of lights to be installed and non-negotiable tasks to complete first (if working on a budget).
