FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to discuss what they would ideally desire for their special event and what type of budget they are looking for. If it seems like we may be a good match, I offer a tasting/meeting if they would like. If all goes well there, then we write up a rough draft contract with all of the details discussed at our first meeting. Then we both work together to make sure all details are ironed out. Our policy is 1/3 nonrefundable downpayment with the signing of the contract and the remaining balance and final guest count due no later than one week before the event.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always had a passion for food and the people who enjoy my food. There's nothing like having someone thoroughly enjoy the dish that I have created. I get to be creative and there is always room for growth.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have done a variety of different events for people of all demographics from a downtown salon cosmetology seminar, to an open house featuring a new glass sculpture, to a viking themed 30th birthday party, and backyard weddings. I try to make it a point to keep with the theme of the event.
