I have looked into LA Boxing, Karate, Brazilian Ju-Jitzu and they all have the same feel but different techniques. Just show-up for the exercises, do your best while your here and we will award you for it with a celebration. I love Shen because it's all about me. If I want to get better I have to be the adult and make it happen. Take it with me to my home and learn it, live it and be one with the techniques. This is not for weekend warriors, it is for those that really want to transform who they are and become something they thought could not be possible on their own.

      About

USA Today: Sensei Fabiano Costa was born in 1975 in Maceio, Brazil. Early in his life, he started practicing martial arts. His first teacher was his uncle, Carlos Costa (watch his video), black belt in Kyokushin karate. At age of 9, he started training Judo, and a little later, Kung Fu. As a teenager, he had the opportunity to train with Eduardo Canuto (check out his YouTube video), who was the World Champion of Full Contact at the time. Later on, at age of 20, he trained Jiu Jitsu with Diojone Farias (check out his YouTube video), who was the Pan-American champion at the time. Although he practiced and was exposed to several different martial art styles, he became fond of Kyokushin Karate. Early on in his training, Sensei Fabiano participated in many local and national tournaments, most notable being 1st place in Northeast Open Kyokushin Karate held in Alagoas. In 2001, he moved to San Diego, where he met Sensei Adam Seydin from the Kyokushin Karate IKU association (check out his website), who soon became his teacher and a good friend. In 2009, after many years of preparation and training, Sensei Fabiano received his 2nd dan black belt from Kancho David Farzinzad (Sensei Kaicho), founder of the IKU organization (International Kyokushin Union-IKU) and the younger student of Sensei Sosai Oyama to receive 5th dan and the title of Kyoshi (title given only to 7th dan black belt master). In early 2010, Sensei Fabiano was 2nd place in the a open challenge tournament of Kyokushin Karate in Beaverton, Oregon. Today, Sensei Fabiano Costa has a 2nd dan black belt from IKU organization (IKU) and teaches at his Escondido, CA dojo, where adults, and children alike come to learn and enjoy the art of Kyokushin Karate.
