FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I stay involved with current computer skills in the areas of excel, power point, and word. I also continued my education in project management and my contractor certifications for lead. I also have been being schooled in the advantages of having a corporation.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As with most things, I started in one area and it evolved to another. I worked in the coatings industry much of my adult life after college. I spent time as a painter in the SF Bay area and then moved to the Sacramento area and managed paint stores for a large west coast manufacturer. Back then they put us through painting apprenticeship courses to make us trade savvy for our customers. We had to become experts in Airless spray applications when airless pumps were just becoming popular, Paint chemistry, color matching, Wall Paper installation, color theory, design and decorating. This education mixed with my application experience of the past and now present has gotten me to the point where I am now contracting my own work and developing a company to do even more.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Painting the interior of homes prior to people moving into them. Easy to decorate while the home is empty. Exterior of homes and strip malls. Small Apartment complexes. Rehabs and home flipping. Tilt ups, and T.I. work. Cabinet painting, refinishing, glazing, and decorating. We have the experience and know how to do much more but the above is what we usually do.
