FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is based on a 65-character line. While the number of lines per report varies greatly, probably the easiest way to estimate what your average line count would be is to think about the number of minutes of dictation. One minute of dictation is equivalent to about 10 lines. So if you had 30 minutes of dictation, that would equal roughly 300 lines. Think about the number of minutes of dictation you do in a day, week or month. This will be taken into consideration when we give you your quote. You can also estimate how many lines your reports are by bringing them up in Word and doing a character count. Click on "Review" then click "Word Count." Look at the number of characters (with spaces). Divide this number by 65 to calculate the number of lines in the document. You can then determine how many documents per day, week or month you typically produce to figure out your average number of lines. This number will be taken into consideration in the quote you are given.
