- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I try to keep current with what is going on by belonging to our local professional association: Professional Photographers of Sacramento Valley. I am on the board now and have held just about every position, including President (2002). I also belong to an online forum group of professional photographers around the country. We share ideas with each other, discuss new techniques, technologies, marketing, etc.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Creating beautiful on-location portraits is what I do for my clients. This starts with a consultation over the phone or in person to discuss things like theme, clothing, colors, location, etc.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Please know that when it comes to professional photography, someone with experience counts. In this day and age, everyone is a "photographer", but not everyone can create a great family portrait like someone who has been doing this for years.
