Shape of the Earth successfully completed a drip system installation at my home and all my dealings with them were professional. They brought forward considerations that other bidders did not even mention. I would highly recommend them if you are considering similar work. They are excellent to work with in all respects.

Details: I want to install a new system in an existing yard • Less than 500 sq. ft. • Timer-driven automatic system • Residential

Our regular maintenance worker quit last year and it didn't take long for our yard to become so overgrown and weedy that it was actually unpleasant to be back there. David and his team removed an enormous amount of weeds, dead plants and grasses, trimmed back the overgrown trees and shrubs and used no toxic chemicals to restore our gravel patio area. He completely rebuilt the irrigation system and restored the crumbling retaining wall, then replanted with a delightfully colorful selection of drought-tolerant shrubs and succulents, some of them California natives. We love it so much more now, we're always back there.

David's price was great for what we got. He was very thorough with his estimate and communicated well when changes needed to be made. There were no surprises, which is what we loved about working with him! He completed the whole project in almost the exact time frame we agreed on. Overall it was an ideal experience with a super professional, knowledgeable and skilled landscape contractor. I highly recommend Shape of the Earth.

Details: Complete renovation of current landscape (e.g. replace soil, hardscape services) • Plant trees or shrubs • Remove trees or shrubs • Walkway • Patio • Back yard • Side yard • Yes, maintenance needed • Home

David of Shape of the Earth is knowledgeable, coming with over 20 years of experience in landscape design and irrigation. I had a small repair job, but he approached it with patience and professionalism, asking questions and vowing photos and videos, plus an on-site visit before doing the work. He answers questions thoroughly. He may not be the lowest bidder, and he uses higher quality parts and fittings, so I’m confident his work will stand the test of time. I’ve added him to my list of “go-to experts” for landscaping and irrigation, and glad I met him.
