I have had Amelia as a dharma coach as well as a yoga instructor and she is excellent at both. As a yoga teacher, she is patient and knowledgeable, and she strives to ensure that each yogi is having a great time in their practice. As a dharma coach, she excels at guiding dharma seekers on their individual path to self discovery by being a grounding force while encouraging seekers to dream big. She offers constant support and inspiration, and has so clearly been transformed by the dharma process herself. Her genuine passion for both yoga and dharma are evident and infectious, which I think is her strongest asset. I cannot recommend doing both dharma and yoga with Amelia enough!

Are you looking for a trainer just for a name sake? Not ready to work hard but just want to tell people that you have a personal trainer? If so this is NOT the guy for you. Nicholas is an expert when it comes to strength training, abs , weight/fat loss, nutrition ...... you name it and he knows it. I have been training with him for last 3 months. It has been a great experience. He is not like any other trainer, he will have a detailed discussion with you and set up targets/goals before starting the training. He then performs complete analysis of your nutrition and other physical activities. After that you get a program that is specifically targeting your needs and helps you achieve the goals. He is good at kicking ass ( in a good way ) to make you work harder, works with you through the session , makes adjustments and modifications as we progress. The work outs are always interesting and different , he makes sure to keep them interesting and challenging all the time. This makes the whole experience enjoyable and you can actually see the visible results along the way. If you are looking for a trainer who would help you and motivate you to reach your goals this is the guy you should go to.
Amazing first call experience. Brian has a deep insight into issues and problems you are facing, because he genuinely wants to listen to you. He is not just a counselor; he is a coach who wants you to succeed. He is not going to try to convince you to be his customer in the first, free phone call. Rather, he wants to make some progress in your life during that call. I thought Thumbtack and possibly even Brian might be a scam, but just from the first discussion, I gained a lot of insight into my own ways of thinking. I've struggled with my weight most of my life. I've yoyo'd between obese and athletic. It wasn't until I worked out with Thomas that I was able to develop strategies to stop the yoyoing and stay in shape. Thomas isn't just a personal trainer. He's also a motivator and a life coach. He teaches you strategies to get your workouts and diet under control, but when you fall off the wagon he encourages you to get back on and brings you up rather than scolding you. I was 36 years old playing baseball in an 18+ league. My performance was slipping fast and I thought my playing career was coming to a close. Then my high school friend Nate stepped in. With respect to Meditation Instruction, my qualifications are a bit unique. I have practiced meditation for over 30 years, primarily in the Buddhist traditions. However, I can teach meditation either within or outside of a spiritual context. What tends to make a meditation teacher effective are not so much his/her words, as the experiential understanding behind those words. And what generally creates that understanding is the consistent practice of meditation itself . In other words, the mind training that meditation provides. This training of the mind and heart can happen in normal daily life , and it happens especially effectively in silent retreat. I have done countless silent retreats since 1985, and in recent years, for as long as two months at a time. I have been taught (in and out of retreat) by the most renowned Western teachers of mindfulness and Buddhist Insight Meditation, and in 2017, I was authorized to teach in the Western Tradition of Insight Meditation by these teachers.
