I recently hired Mere Ramos Construction to install a fence with a retaining wall and additional pavers. The team completed the fence and wall in about four days, and the pavers in two days. They were accommodating when I requested the pavers, which wasn't part of the original plan. Overall, I'm satisfied with the final result.​ Communication was generally good throughout the project. However, I was surprised to learn after the work was completed that there was an additional charge for a trip to dump excess dirt. It would have been helpful to have been informed of this charge before the project concluded. Additionally, there's some extra concrete stucco at the front of the retaining wall that I wish had been addressed, as it stands out more than expected.​ Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was positive, and I would consider hiring them again for future projects.

We are in the process of having our swimming pool renovated, including replacement of all our old pool plumbing. We hired Mere Ramos Construction to remove and repour our concrete pool deck so that all the underground pipes could be replaced. From the very first moment, Mere proved an excellent choice. He responded right away, made himself available despite a busy schedule, and met us personally to discuss the job. His estimate was highly competitive, and he was prepared to start work immediately. The demolition of our old pool deck was completed quickly and with great care, resulting in no damage to the adjacent coping and concrete slabs, and he left the job site spotless. Thereafter, he adeptly arranged installation of the new concrete around our pool contractor’s unpredictable schedule, coordinating the logistics seamlessly and efficiently. When several unforeseen complications arose (an underground drainpipe requiring replacement, old underground electrical wires requiring removal, etc.), he happily took care of these with no hesitation for a minimal charge. Pouring the cement for the new pool deck required considerable attention to detail, including adjustment of the in-ground pool deck drain, pool skimmer, and auto-fill float chamber to exactly match the final height and grade of the new concrete. Despite these and numerous other challenges, the final product turned out perfectly. Throughout the project, Mere was polite, proactive, available, and attentive to our needs. He demonstrated professionalism, expertise and attention to detail at all times. He was easy to work with and competitively priced. I recommend him without hesitation.

Mr. Romos did a superior job on my backyard concretedrain problem. I had been needing to unclog my drains that were under the Concrete and he did a fantastic job in the repairs. He had to remove some concrete repair and replace the drain system. I couldn’t be more happier with the job. I called a major company who want much more for the job. He did it in for a fraction of the cost. I highly recommend him for any of your jobs that you need; extremely courteous, kind, and professional. Completed Job in one day - way ahead of schedule.
