FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Flat rate per hour for businesses between 8 am and 8 PM, extra for later and weekends. Flat rate for residential work, but I more often then not will come to some arrangement, such as a flat fee to accomplish a list of tasks regardless of the time it takes. Hours are less restrictive and over-time has never been an issue. Parts must be re-imbursed upon purchasing. I do not mark up the cost of parts, but if it take a lot of time to research and purchase the parts we may needs to discuss some compensation for doing so. The most I will wait is NET 15 for businesses, unless a retainer contract is in place or other arrangement have been made. I expect residential work to pay upon completion. All work is Guaranteed!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, constantly! I read every online tech article I can, when I look at an error on a computer I research it on Google and find out all about what it is and what ramification it may have, I have dozens of Tech related alerts and RSS feed constantly sent to my Phone and Email and love to go to seminars about new technology where I not only learn about what's next but make more contacts with like-minded people who I may need to draw on, or me for them. When I mention in my profile that I was out of the game for a while taking care of my family, this is in part what I am referring to - not just that I haven't been working in IT as much, but that I haven't been spending a considerable amount of each of my days staying on top and attempting be on the cutting edge of all things tech.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Simple put, there is nothing in this world I am am better at or brings me more satisfaction when I see the smiles and repeat phone calls from cusomters.
