Hi, I’m Marissa and this is my company Just A Day LA! I have been working as a professional home organizer and (un)packing for almost 8 years helping individuals and families create calm and order in their everyday lives. Whether it’s decluttering, organizing, creating functional systems or packing and unpacking your home I’m here to help you manage your space and time in a way that works best for you. No project is ever too big! I truly enjoy making peoples life feel lighter, simpler, and more organized and sometimes all that takes is Just A Day.
Need more people on a project? I’ve got assistants who are equally hardworking and dependable, and they’re ready to step in.

Rate:
- $65/hour - $325 minimum per day
- Includes one free SUV load of unwanted items removed per booking + donation receipts

As an exhausted mom of three boys, I was feeling completely overwhelmed by the chaos in my home. I knew I needed help, so I decided to hire Marissa for a day of organizing—and it was honestly the best decision I’ve made! From the moment she walked in, I could tell she was someone I could trust, and by the end of the day, it felt like I had gained not just an organizer, but a friend.
I gave her a list of areas I wanted tackled, and she worked through it all with such ease, knocking out everything from:
-Reorganizing the fridge and tossing expired items
-Reorganizing the pantry and tossing expired item
-Creating labels for the pantry to make everything easier to find
-Reorganizing our mudroom area
-Reorganizing the cleaning supplies area

Absolutely outstanding. She was punctual,fast , had great ideas. Her skills were exactly what was needed . I was overwhelmed with a kitchen remodel and visitors coming . One of my spare rooms needed organising and the hall closet where you dumps everything in . I discovered I had four sunscreen bottles. Well, wage pit everything in order and even labeled everything. Couldn’t be happier . Will hire and recommend her .

I seriously can’t say enough good things about Marissa! I brought her in to help with my closet and then my daughter’s, and the results are incredible. Marissa was absolutely incredible! She helped my family and me unpack after a move, and we truly could not have done it without her. Marissa completely changed our lives. I was honestly overwhelmed every time I walked into our pantry or my daughter’s closet things were just thrown everywhere, and there was absolutely no system and it continued to only get worse and worse over time. I hired Marissa to organize these areas but she completely transformed the spaces. She created systems that make sense, are easy to maintain, and actually work for our day-to-day life. Now, everything has a place, and both areas feel calm, functional, and beautiful!!! A few of our family friends have used her from my referral and absolutely love what she did to organize their houses as well, can not recommend her enough!
