The work quality is five stars but professionalism is only 2 stars. We live in a condo community that requires HOA board approval for any work that will create very loud noises and lasts over 2 days. The 3-day drywall job created so much noise that we were on the HOA’s blacklist. But the normal drywall noise wasn’t the problem. The guys blasted music on the first day of job. For the remaining 3 days they talked loudly inside and outside the condo that could be heard by the neighbors. They also failed to cover everything that needed to be protected. Our computer working stations were caked with drywall dust. When a scaffolding needed to be brought in, they failed to protect our brand new carpet and crushed the brand new padding by not putting a wood block on the wheels and instead directly on the carpet. Now we have 4 dents on the carpet. When carrying items upstairs, the items were tossed on the ground on purpose causing the entire building to shake with loud noise that could be felt and heard by next door neighbors and across the street. When confronted and asked to do it gently, the worker was defiant and argumentative. When confronted with any concerns, like all the loose nails that were dropped all over the garage and out in the common area, we were met with defiance and excuses. I’ve worked with a lot of contractors but this is the most stressful project I’ve ever had to deal with because of the contractors. Trash was left behind on a windowsill only accessible by a 20 ft ladder which we don't have. So it's going to be up there until we figure something out. The price and the work is good but we would rather pay a little more to have less stress and not be on the HOA blacklist.
