Introduction: I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I have eight years of experience working with a wide range of people. I have worked with many couples, individuals, and teens. I treat couples in distress, emotional disorders, trauma recovery, and addiction. I have been trained as a lead facilitator for both the love and respect and the DNA of relationships methods.
For relationships, I focus on the attachment process and use techniques from emotionally focused therapy. For individuals, I organize the therapy around cognitive behavioral approaches. This helps us get our thoughts and emotions organized, and then we can integrate a stronger self into our everyday lives and relationships.
I love working with people and helping them make changes that enable them to pursue new goals in their lives.

I started seeing Todd Spath in January 2011, when my life was unraveling. I suffered a nervous breakdown and I was diagnosed with severe depression, generalized anxiety, PTSD, suicidality, and self harm. Todd helped me to uncover the sources of my symptoms that had caused me a lot of pain and grief throughout my whole life. He has helped me and my family through many very difficult marriage and family challenges. It has been a long road back to recovery, but the journey has been well worth it. Having Todd as my therapist has been a great blessing and he has made my journey much easier. Todd has such a great heart to serve people, which shines in his ability as a Marriage and Family Therapist. He is very patience, empathetic, witty, creative, and wise.
