I have been a competive athlete all my life and when I entered my forties, it became more and more difficult to stay in shape. It never occurred to me that was doing it wrong. Working out that is. Well...I was. I was a typical runner/weight lifter and when I felt like I was getting out of shape, I would run more and lift more. WRONG! Last year in 2009, I found myself in a situation where I needed to drastically increase my fitness level so I could become a member of an elite tactical team. The try out was ridiculous. Just to pass mith a minimum score, I had to run a 440 meter sprint in under 75 seconds. I had to do 65 perfect push-ups, 65 full sit-ups, 15 dead hang pull-ups and run a military obstacle course in under four minutes! ALL WITH NO REST, ONE EVENT RIGHT AFTER ANOTHER! I couldn't do it. Could you? I heard about Brian at Motiv8 Personal Training and I gave him a shot. Wow! Not only did I pass the physical challenge, I smoked it! I can't speak highly enough of Brian and what he was able to do for me and my overall fitness level and health in general. I am in the best shape of my life! I have a washboard stomach and I am 44! I now smoke guys half my age! Even though I played college football and competed in martial arts, I had no idea how to train. I mean really train. Brian at Motiv8 Personal Training did it for me. He literally changed my life. If you don't do it, you're nuts!

Brian developed a six month training program for me that transformed my body into the athletic figure i have always wanted. I lost 25 pounds in the first four months! His innovative approach to personal training not only made me physically stronger, it gave me the motivation and direction I needed in learning to feed my new body correctly. The fresh training techniques that Brian uses keep work out blues away and I walk away feeling fantastic!

Brian's a GREAT Trainner! I started with him after a bad car accident & having been on disability for 9 months. I was a big lumpy mess, my body was screwed up. He got me back in shape & helped get rid of the pain the physical therapist said 'I'd have to live with' ! Yeah, he had to kick my butt sometimes but he generally had me laughing while he was doing it. I haven't needed it but I love the fact that he does 24 hr phone/txt support. He's answered txts while we were at holiday events, helping his clients choose the right things to eat!

My training with Brian for almost a year was simply amazing and life changing. I did not just workout but was educated, many lessons that I can use for years to come. The variety of workout methods and his inspiring motivation and energy kept me wanting more and looking forward to the next workout at 5:30 am. Rached Maalouf

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

1 on 1 personal training = $60/session 2 on 1 personal training = $90/session ($45ea) ***billing is monthly, in advance. No refunds after 2nd week of training.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Interview any prospective trainer and ask for references. You will be spending a lot of time communicating with your coach so make sure you can live with their personality. Dont be fooled by "certifications." Just because a trainer has several letters behind their name doesn't mean they know how to coach. Most certifications are a joke. Talk to your trainer, watch them work and talk their clients.
