The service Gilbert provided was great. I had a "tenant & mouse" situation that required more than just "show up and set a trap. The "other" exterminator service was mainly interested in getting a long-term contract signed. Gilbert was concerned with getting the problem solved. I'm very grateful for his expertise with the mice and sensitivity to the tenant situation.

Gilbert was very prompt in showing up to the appointment, had a cordial and pleasant demeanor, and even was able to call-out the issue I was having with dry wood termites just from the description I provided in my initial request, site unseen. It seems that my issue still falls under the warranty of another exterminator that has checked my place before I had moved in, so I ultimately did not contract Gilbert's services. But Gilbert even walked me through the inspection report from the other exterminator and took the time to explain a few things regarding the report. All in all, a great experience. I will definitely consider Gilbert's services in the future if the need shall arise.

My newly purchased house was inspected for termites by another company during the escrow process. They "discovered evidence of termites" and said we needed to pay a bunch of money to address the issue. Luckily, I reached out to Slate for an inspection after moving in. Within the first 5 minutes, the guy from Slate found a notice left by a past termite company saying they tented the house ~3 years ago. So, it's likely the "evidence of termites" were from the colony that was already eradicated. Slate saved me a lot of money. Thanks.

We hired them to do our whole complex of 16 units. We just started and they did a great job spraying, it has only been a week that we have them under contract, so I can’t advise more.

We offer free Inspections for General Pest and Termites ( non sales/non refinance). To ensure we give you all of your options and best pricing. Not every home is the same.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To find the best solution for their pest issues with the least amount of interruption to their family.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Twenty five years of experience with termite and pest. We are also required to take continuing education yearly. Our technicians attend all offered training to say up with the latest trends and chemical usage changes.
