Both Mercedes and her mother are great at what they do. We invited them to help us with our Halloween costumes and make up. They transformed my co-workers into realistic zombies using professional FX makeup. I highly recommend Mercedes as a great face painter.Oct 31, 2017Verified
Mercedes Is so creative with her work. She was very professional and serious about her work. I had change my costume for Halloween and she gave me some great ideas. I went with a day of the dead costume and I got compliments all night on how amazing my makeup was. I would tell anybody needing makeup work, call Mercedes.Nov 1, 2017Verified
Working with Mercedes was so great. She totally catered to the requests of both the children and adults at my birthday party. She understood exactly what we each person wanted for designs and was creative when we asked her to. Perfect addition to my kid-themed party! Thanks Mercedes.Jul 23, 2018Verified

Mercedes mom actually took over that day. She was very good and patient with the kids. They all loves the balloons and face paint. I will book her again. =)Dec 18, 2017Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? For face painting I change $165 for two hours minimum and $55 every hour after per artist. For balloon twisting add $55 for every hour of face painting. Depending on how far I have to travel I will also charge for mileage. For princess Jasmine I change $200 for two hours minimum and $75 every hour after. Being Princess Jasmine entails more, I am completely in character from the moment I arrive, I read stories to children, play games with them, and do magic tricks, as well as face paint. Glitter tattoos are an additional add on of $75 to any type of party.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Yes, I attend classes throughout the year as well as large makeup shows that include face painting. In the makeup artist world face painting and body painting are included.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?It was entirely by accident. My friend who was a clown pulled up beside me in her car and said she had an emergency and needed someone to do a birthday party for her that day and saw me driving. She knew I was crafty and thought it was the perfect opportunity to teach me her craft. I am no longer a clown, but I took face painting from it and fell in LOVE!
