FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I don't adhere to a standard pricing system, because everyone's budget is different. I work with what the client can afford to pay, because I'm more interested in helping the client successfully reach their fitness and nutrition goals. When my clients or students succeed in reaching their goals, that gives me great personal and professional satisfaction.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In working with a new customer or student, I always begin by assessing the individual. This includes finding out what their goals are, conducting several basic assessment test (body composition analysis, fitness assessment, a nutrition analysis, and a readiness assessment) before getting started.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master of Arts Degree in Health and Physical Education (now called Kinesiology). I also have certification and training from the YMCA as a Healthy Lifestyles Counselor in Fitness and Nutrition, and have worked closely with clients in fitness assessments and designing a personalized fitness and nutrition program to help meet their personal fitness goals. I teach Health and Kinesiology at the college level for the Los Angeles Community College District, and have taught at the college level nineteen years now.
