I have over 10 years of experience in design with a Masters degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I have worked at amazing Architecture firms in different cities and countries, giving me a fairly broader perspective of design styles.

Hiring Malavika turned out to be one of the best decisions we made while remodeling our home. She is an Architect with a strong sense of style and ability to come up with functional architectural plans that stay within the budget. She saved us a lot of time by suggesting quality contractors, structural engineers, material suppliers and helped us with city permits.
Creating your dream harmonious living space is not an easy task. It has to blend in with the existing style, neighborhood and for the plan to translate to reality you need to think in terms of framing, roofing , plumbing, wiring, tiling, picking proper building materials and down to paint and texture. The first step in the process is hiring a skilled Architect who listens to you and works well with a team of engineers and contractors throughout each step of the process. If you are looking for such a professional for your next project, I would strongly recommend Malavika and Mavin Innovative Designs.

Malvika has been great throughout the process - from giving ideas on the layout to getting us a reasonable contractor, to making accurate drawings and seamlessly submitting our application online. Worked with Malavika on renovating 3 of our bathrooms and interior design. She is very good at understanding spaces and provides different ideas that are rooted in practicality and cool designs. She also helped with choosing color schemes and how to improve existing spaces. We didn't get the work permitted but she also provides that service. Provides faster feedback and updates to keep the project moving and helped coordinate with the contractors on bidding and pricing.
