FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Standard pricing for our initial assessments are $50.00, which takes an average of 1 hour. There is no obligation to sign on for additional sessions after the assessment. From there the standard price for an hour of personal training is $65.00. Pricing can vary depending on location.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step when working with a new customer is to perform an initial assessment. During this initial assessment we provide an interview so we can get to know our clients' goals as well as their barriers to these goals. We want to make sure we are the right fit for the client and that we are confident we can help them reach their goals. After the interview, we then perform a basic physiological assessment which includes body measurements as well as proper movement assessments. This allows us to see immediately which muscles we can improve upon. From their we can decide about scheduling a consistent workout routine based on the clients' schedule.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Both our trainers have a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology - Exercise Science. We are also board certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as Personal Trainers. We believe education is key when it comes to health and fitness because it provides us with science based techniques and knowledge. In terms of training, Fit408 trainers have been independently personal training since 2011. We have experience not only in fitness training from gyms, but also in physical therapy as well as experience with the spinal cord injury population.
