FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'm with you every step of the way. First, we'll chat to see if we're a great match for each other. Then, we'll consult and decide on the elements of the photoshoot - everything from wardrobe, to location, to time of day. Then we'll shoot! Finally, you'll get to see your very best edited portraits and from there we'll choose which portraits tell your family's love story best and how we'll turn them into timeless art for your home and future generations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm lovingly self taught! I take photography courses and watch hours and hours (and hours) of photography classes. But the best education I've received is taking photographs and continually working on mastering this art form. I love to learn and am constantly applying new skills to give my clients the very best of what I have.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started taking portraits during a trip to Ghana. I was there helping women in a rural village start a sustainable water business. When I wasn’t working I was hanging out with the kids taking photos of them and letting them snap selfies. That’s when I really fell in love with taking portraits of people.
