About
Buhanov Custom Projects INC. — custom carpentry, remodeling, and full-scope home improvement across the Central Valley. Top Pro 2025, hired 285+ times, fully insured, and every project backed by a warranty. We handle bathroom and kitchen remodels, flooring, trim and finish carpentry, decks and outdoor living, structural upgrades, and repairs. With a skilled team, you don't need to line up and manage multiple contractors. My name is Dmytro Buhanov. I'm a former Merchant Navy officer from Ukraine who came to the United States to build something of my own. What started as a one-man handyman operation has grown into a full custom projects company — but the standard hasn't changed: clean execution, durable craftsmanship, sharp lines, and work that actually looks finished. Planning a renovation, an upgrade, or a new build? Tell us what you have in mind and we'll come back with a clear estimate and a realistic timeline.

Hired on Thumbtack

I reached out to Thumbtack to find someone to replace my tough shed doors which had deteriorated and warped due to weather exposure. Dmytro provided a clear, thorough assessment and a fair quote. He took the time to explain the entire process of how he would approach the replacement. This transparency was greatly appreciated from the very start.
The project was completed, and the results are beyond my expectations. The new doors were built, installed, and painted. The doors are not only functional but also a significant aesthetic upgrade. The new modern hinges he installed are a clear improvement over the old ones.
Dmytro kept me informed every step of the way, which made the process completely stress-free. I am extremely happy with the look and quality of the new doors and I would not hesitate to recommend Dmytro’s company, “Buhanov Custom Projects Inc”. to anyone seeking a skilled, reliable, and professional craftsman for any project.

He did a great job repainting our shower, professional and efficient. It looks so much better now. One thing I really appreciated about working with him is his communications; he responded quickly and was good about updates or changes to his schedule.
