I photograph properties that need to earn money from their pictures: short-term rentals and boutique hospitality, commercial spaces, and architecture for designers, builders and developers. Every project starts with a conversation about who the images need to reach and what they have to do, and the shoot is planned around that, with styling, timing and a shot list to match. Most projects run from $1,200 to $6,000 depending on scope, and I travel across California from Sonoma to San Diego. I don't shoot weddings, portraits or events. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Real estate listings start at $500 for the properties I take on, and most short-term rental and commercial projects run $1,200 to $6,000 depending on scope, styling and travel. Every quote comes after a short call, because the right scope depends on what the images need to do for you. Travel within California is included in the quote. If you have several properties or ongoing work, there is flexibility.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we love talking to our potential customers in person or on the phone to make sure we are a good match for each other. We want to hear about what wish to accomplish with the project and find the best way to help you with that.
If we are a match we will provide a proposal with scope of work and dates for the shoot, a contract and any additional information.
After the shoot we will provide you with an initial gallery of the shoot to choose together with images to edit and use for final delivery.
Finally we will have a post-shoot interview to see what was your favorite part of the experience and how we can make your experience even better in the future.
