- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend continuing education courses and keep myself updated in the field of Eating Disorders. I often provide speaking engagements where I strive to educate people with eating disorders and their loved ones about how eating disorders develop and what is involved in the recovery process.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It is important that the individual seeking counseling has some desire to get better. It is best if this desire is for themselves rather than another person pressuring them into therapy.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Eating Disorders are a serious condition. If not dealt with properly they can ruin a person's life. It is important for anyone with an Eating Disorder to know that they are not alone and that there is treatment that will lead to recovery.
