Hired Alex for my sisters baby shower. Ordered pulled pork, bbq chicken, Mexican corn, smoked bacon mac n cheese, and saugsage links. Did a great job by keeping the pans hot and full of food at all times. Ordered for 60 and looks like he made enough for 100 so portions for guest were great. Chicken was delicious, mac n cheese was also a hit. Love the smoked flavor it has. The corn was declicious. i usually shy away from mayonnaise, but that corn was definitely delicious and perfect amount of spice. With all these great items, the pork stands at the top. Very juicy and did not need any fixings at all. You could serve that by itself and your guest would be happy. I thank Alex for taking the time out and catering our baby shower. We will be using him in the future!!! Looking forward to trying the famous Garlic noodles.

We had Staff Appreciation at Heroes Elementary School in Santa Ana and as a PTA we always have a very strict budget. Not only did Alex and Hungry Jax Kitchen match our previous food vendors but excelled in every possible way. Pricing, communication, timeliness, efficiency were all outstanding. The professionalism was great but it doesn't even come close the perfection that is his food! I have to admit I was a little skeptical about ordering his "Mexican Chicken". Especially because it was going to be served to Mexicans. BUT let me tell you, that and the Garlic Noodles were the hit of the night! Needless to say, he got referral business from that single event and we will MOST DEFINATELY be using Alex and Hungry Jax Kitchen over and over!

Alex did an AWESOME JOB bringing the Hungry JAX Kitchen to my event at my work! Hosted an event that celebrated a milestone achievement for work and we had a luau themed party. Alex brought in the best kalua pork and island style BBQ chicken that raved at work for weeks! My employees want him to cater all our events and parties now. Thanks for the tasty food and best service to assist with our celebration. Be assured that you will get another call from us for our next event!!

Hungry Jax Kitchen catered for my in laws after my brother in laws funeral and we ordered chicken, rice, potato salad, and green salad. The food was amazing and it was plenty of food to take care of all the hungry people. The food was on time, on budget, and arrived warm and fresh. Alex communicated very well with me making sure that the budget was what I wanted it to be and that my food preference was met. I definitely will be using them again in the future.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
All my life ever since I was a young kid til now, food always brought my family together. When I was in college, I would cook or BBQ for my roommates, my teammates and other friends. Although I was thousands of miles from home I always knew that food brought family together, so I would cook or BBQ every other week just so I could be surrounded with family and that's how I decided that this is what I wanted to do.
