- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Mini-sessions are $100 and done in my studio on weekdays. Half-sessions are $200 and can be on-location or in my studio, those typically last for 1 hour. And a full session is $250, available on weekends, on-location or in studio, 1-2 hours, multiple looks and more editing of images.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually there is a pre-session consult where over the phone or in-person, the client and I discuss what they are looking for in the photo shoot. This can be for maternity, newborn or family photos. We talk about the colors, themes, how many people will be in the photos and where to take them. The second part is the session itself. That is fairly straightforward and depending on the type of session can last from 1 hour to 4 hours for newborn portraits. Finally is the in-person ordering session where I meet with the client one last time and we go over and review the images and pickout the products they wish to display on their walls at home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 13 years experience in photography. I have taken photos of over 3,000 newborns in Orange County during that time.
