- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We don't quote pricing on our website, or over the phone, because every situation is different. This is why we prefer to do an in person evaluation, at our facility, first... so we can determine what the best course of action is, or even if we are the best fit.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We do as much continuing education as possible, hosting seminars at our facility, as well as sending our dog trainers to dog training seminars around the country. In November 2014, both of our trainers studied with a famous trainer (Chad Mackin) near Chicago for one week each. In February 2015, they studied some revolutionary gentle leash handling with Jay Jack in Petaluma. Every chance we get, we send our trainers for continuing education.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We had a case of a very spoiled Pomeranian, who was 5 years old, and the couple was worried because they had twin babies arriving soon, and this little guy was a biter. He had never been asked to do anything, which was unfortunate, because Pomeranians LOVE to work. Once everyone got on the same page, and realized that they could ask him to do things, and he knew what was expected, their entire lives shifted. Babies are here, dog is happy because now he's no longer in charge, and the babies' Momma is ecstatic!
