We worked with Jori to buy our first house in the Bay Area. Being in the area for long we knew how hard the real estate market was. We were however very fortunate to meet Jori who took away the fear of the unknown.She had an initial 2 hour call with us to understand what we were looking for .Every week, based on our requirements she would shortlist houses which she thought had the most potential and send them over.If we liked a house she emailed us the disclosures and went through it with us. She also compiled a list of all recent sales in the area to give us an idea of the price the house might sell for.What sets Jori apart was her high moral ethics. She is not here to make quick bucks. She does not pressurize you to make a decision to buy anything . She does not tell you to bid crazy prices so you get the house. She believed in giving you enough information to make the correct decision . She really wants to get the dream house for the right reasons. She understands the difficulty and pressure the first time home buyers go through.She really is with you all the way.Jori is extremely patient , she is always available via text , email, phone call whatever works. Being a local kid she knows the ins and outs of the area. I highly recommend Jori if you are either first time buyer or experienced you will not go wrong with her.

I embarked on a wild and crazy real estate journey while "contemplating" a move closer to my family in Santa Rosa. I started cruising Zillow and found an interesting home in Ukiah which I went to see and loved but they did not accept my contingency offer. 6 weeks later, the Ukiah agent reached out to me & said they'd reconsidered under one consideration... my house needed to be on the market immediately. I contacted Jori Mayer and she jumped on board with me, instantly getting my house listed with all the high visibility websites, securing photographers, publishing brochures and scheduling open houses. That girl hit the ground running and worked with my local real estate agent in Ukiah to ensure both contracts aligned with the sellers timeline so I could meet the contingency deadline and not lose security deposits, etc...To complicate matters, it was determined during my inspections in Boulder Creek that I needed a new leech field so we secured the septic company to perform the work but were held up by inclimate weather & the county permit process. Meanwhile, the clock is ticking.And then the perfect buyer appeared at one of Jori's open houses & the ball was rolling on the sale of my home. Jori worked closely with the buyers agent and kept me informed of all negotiations. She reviewed all contracts with me meticulously to ensure I was comfortable and understood every line item, for BOTH properties which was above and beyond her role and responsibility.Alas the permits were in place, a purchase price was agreed to and the leech field was replaced, at which point Jori took the lead to get all parties involved at both title companies due to the short interval in meeting my contractual obligations to secure the Ukiah house and we were able to get all funds wired in the nick of time to sell and buy a home within 2 days!!!While I do not recommend transactions like this because of the high level of stress endured during the process, I do HIGHLY recommend the Dufur Mayer Group to escort you thru the process of buying or selling as there is no question, they are THE TEAM for the challenge and although it was a process I hope never to repeat, I had an amazing experience and I am grateful to them for their attention to my situation and personalized care every step of the way! As a First-Time Homebuyer, I needed someone who is knowledgable, trustworthy and compassionate to my needs. Jori has all of these qualities, and she is an EXCELLENT realtor and person. People say they would work for your interest 24/7, but Jori literally has been supporting and guiding me 24/7 during this process. She always laid out the pros and cons of a potential property and answered my endless questions in anytime of the day. Jori would tell me the different options how to make an offer attractive and potentially get accepted. She has deep and all-around knowledge in her profession.
