- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new student reaches out, I start with a free 15-minute consultation to learn about their goals, experience level, and musical interests. This helps me tailor lessons to their needs, whether it’s learning songs, improving technique, or building overall confidence. During the first full lesson, I assess their current skill level and create a plan that mixes exercises, songs, and practice strategies suited to their learning style. I keep lessons fun, engaging, and flexible, adjusting as needed to help students make steady progress while enjoying the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been playing guitar for over 20 years, and I love sharing that passion with students of all ages—from kids picking up the guitar for the first time to adults looking to improve their skills. My training comes from years of private lessons as well as extensive self-study, which has given me a strong foundation in technique, music theory, and a variety of playing styles. I focus on creating lessons that are fun, engaging, and tailored to each student’s goals, whether that’s learning songs they love, improving technique, or gaining confidence in their playing.
